Dr. Patrizio is currently Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and is Chief Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Program Director for the REI fellowship. Prior to moving to Miami, he held the title of Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the Yale Fertility Center for 18 years. His clinical interests include Infertility (female and male), IVF, ICSI, Egg donation, Gestational surrogacy, Preservation of fertility in Cancer patients. Among his many research interests are Whole ovary cryopreservation, Oocyte freezing, Genetics of oocytes and cumulus cells, Oocyte and Embryo competence, Ex Vivo folliculogenesis, Gamete and cell Freeze-Dry and Ethical issues in assisted reproduction.

Dr. Pasquale Patrizio received his medical training at the Universita' Studi Napoli Federico II and his Master in Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a Residency in OB/GYN in Napoli at the Universita' Federico II and completed also a Residency in Andrology-Male Reproduction at the Universita' of Pisa, Italy. In the United States, he completed a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Patrizio is Board Certified in OB/GYN, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Andrology and has published more than 650 scientific papers and an Atlas textbook for assisted reproduction. He is on the editorial board of many journals, received many awards and has lectured worldwide in many areas of reproductive medicine.
